Finally, I realize that I am a good person who did some not so good things...many years ago. The only person still dwelling on it is me, everyone else has moved on. It's time I do the same. So here's to a clean slate.
So that being said, it's time to get back on track. Here are the 2010 goals:
1 - to be at 125 pounds by my 40th birthday...if I stay that skinny, fine - if I don't, fine... I just want to see it one more time, damn it! Maybe tomorrow I'll be brave enough to post how much I have to lose to reach that goal. (ok fine, it's 46 pounds...blah)
2 - to be running 5 miles at a time.
3 - to be able to do 10 pull ups (currently I can't even get my feet off the ground)
4 - Get my originals onto CD, even if it's a home recording
5 - to get myself into the musical project that fits MY needs, since I'm not in it strictly for the money, the music/quality/style/company better be worth doing it for next to nothing.
6 - continue to improve on my wife and mother skills
7 - get caught up on my scrapbooks
8 - get out there and meet more friends here in NC
That pretty much sums it up. So far this year (all 4 days of it) I have stuck with my Weight Watchers plan. I like it because I have to be accountable and honest about what I'm actually shoveling in my mouth. It worked for me last year, I just got off track... a LOT.
Losing this weight isn't so much about having to be a perfect size 3, I know I'm pretty at my current size/weight. It's more about setting a goal and reaching it, working daily to get there, sticking with it. Steve is right there beside me, and we can get fit together. Mostly I want to feel the best I can, the perk to that is looking good too! Plus, running is free, competitive and something we can do together.
Cya tomorrow!
Shannon
