P90x Day4 - Yoga

it's 12:15, and I'm on the sofa feeling like I'd like to have a head replacement. Stupid cold, hope it doesn't keep me from working out today. Had an audition set for today, but it was postponed till Tuesday thank goodness!

Well, I made it through about 30 minutes of the yoga. My nose was running, head pounding, but I went as far as I could. Better than not trying at all, I guess, still hate falling short.

Tomorrow is a new day. I managed to finish most of the laundry, clean the kitchen and do some vacuuming. When you're sick, I think that should qualify as a work out =)

P90x-Day 3: Not Feelin' it today

Woke up this morning feeling like I'm catching a cold. Here is my dilemma...do I work out anyway, and risk getting sicker? Do I skip a day and get off schedule? I'm no fitness guru here. Doing day 3 of P90x and just doing as much as I can is probably the best answer. Stay tuned. Let's see what this first cup of coffee does for me. (yeah I know, caffeine isn't on the diet, one thing at a time here people).

11:30am P90x - Day 3
OK, we did it! I feel a little sick to my stomach, but I learned yesterday that it passes. Arms, shoulders and abs today. Counting the fit test this is 4 days in a row! The sun is shining and it's really nice out today. So, since I have a bunch of songs to learn for an audition tomorrow, I think I'll load them up on my iPod and walk till I know them. 125 ain't gonna happen with me sitting on my ass!

Plyometrics - Day 2

an hour of jumping...I was certain I was going to hurl about 20 minutes in. After adjusting my pace, I was able to make it the entire video, even the bonus. I didn't have the best form, and did all the easy versions, and only made it through about 15 seconds of each move, but I didn't quit. My entire upper body is sore from yesterday.

I refuse to quit, tomorrow I'll push play again, feel sick and sore again....I know it will pay off. As for right now, I smell, and need some hot water to sooth my muscles. Nice long shower is the answer.

P90x Day 1

Ok here's the deal... I haven't been dedicated to this blog, and that's not good! Perhaps I should quit being such a chicken shit and post it on my face book page....Maybe tomorrow.

Steve and I started P90x today, and quite frankly it sucks. My legs feel like jelly, my arms are like spagetti..and it's only day 1. We've promised each other we will come back every day and push play. I don't think I'm brave enough to post my "before"pictures. Maybe once the after pictures are taken and I look better. But doubtful.

As for the weight goals... I am down 5 measly pounds, but that's better than gaining or staying the same right? So, I start my fitness program at 166 pounds, that is 41 pounds to lose in 8 months or so. I've done it before, I can and will do it again.

This has been a week of getting things done. It feels great to get that long to do list done. Makes it easier to take the time out to take care of myself.
